Sometimes it is not easy to land the governor for an overhaul. Maybe there is not enough time or no qualified workshop at the port of call or simply an unexpected breakdown. In the above situations, a service exchange unit would be a perfect solution.

How do Governor work?

A marine governor is a crucial device in ship engines (main engine and auxiliary engines) that automatically controls the speed and power output by regulating the amount of fuel injected into the cylinders. It ensures the engine runs steadily under varying load conditions, prevents over speeding, and maintains synchronization with the ship’s power and propulsion systems.
